Useful web sites

I have included some interesting web sites relating to Energy Healing and the effect of subtle energy on the body.  To make it easier to get the information you need I have included a brief summary of the content of the sites listed below.

www.pranichealing.org contains a general overview of Pranic Healing.  It includes information about the modern day founder of this modality as well as some of the world wide humanitarian activities that he is involved in.

www.cancernaturaltherapyfoundation.org The Cancer & Natural Therapy Foundation is a registered charity organization based in Sunbury, Victoria, run by a team of committed and dedicated volunteers. It was established as a non-profit organization in 1993, shortly after Sandra Maqueda’s 4 year old son’s remarkable recovery from cancer using natural therapies. Daniel, now 18 years of age is a living testimony to natural therapies, and enjoys a full active life.

www.meditatepeace.com is a beautiful site for those concerned about global peace and harmony.  It provides a simple explanation of an old but powerful meditation, “Meditation on the Twin Hearts”.  It gives us a basic skill to help raise the global consciousness.

www.aiis.com.au is the site of the Ashish Institute for Inner Studies.  It provides information about Pranic Healing, holistic wealth, free meditations, free community clinics and courses. As medical research comes to light, it is posted on this site for you to read.

www.Hado.net is a site devoted to a Japanese researcher: Dr Masaru Emoto.  He has gained world wide acclaim for his studies of the effect of subtle energy on water crystals.  It is an interesting an interesting site with far reaching implications for humanity.

www.reikiaustralia.com.au Reiki Australia is a nationally constituted, not-for-profit, membership association which has evolved from a mission to facilitate the development of professional Reiki treatment standards.  Our on-line directory offers a resource to assist people in finding credible, accountable local Reiki practitioners and teachers.

www.spaceandmotion.com/pantheism.htm This is a truly amazing site that combines many lines of thought.   The scientific basis of light, matter and the universe are explored. Quantum physics and religion overlap in this area. Take some time to explore this avenue and open up the possibilities available to you.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=_b1GKGWJbE8 Watch the first twenty minutes of this ground breaking and thought provoking film.   The law of attraction exposed and discussed. Practical application of this principal extended into all areas of life has potential to augment our quality of life. Used in conjunction with healing, it greatly enhances the result.

www.noetic.org/research/dh/main.html A site which explores the topic of distant healing, answers questions and provides some scientific studies which show the effectiveness if these techniques.  Healers and doctors are beginning to look more broadly at the healing process. Scientific validation is valuable for many people when making treatment choices.

www.meditationstools.co.nz/main/admin/index.html   The "Billiennium Pi" Meditation Stool is hand made in New Zealand. It is individually handcrafted, practical and comfortable and seeks to symbolise the human need for contemplation. Pressure areas and discomfort are minimized by distributing body weight to the sit bones, knees and tops of the feet. The stool’s ergonomic design encourages good posture for extended periods of meditation.  These stools have been described as sculptural pieces of art.

www.dhamma.org Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are, is one of India's most ancient techniques of meditation. This non-sectarian technique aims for the total eradication of mental impurities and the resultant highest happiness of full liberation. Vipassana is a way of self-transformation through self-observation.

The technique of Vipassana Meditation is taught at ten-day residential courses during which participants learn the basics of the method, and practice sufficiently to experience its beneficial results.

There are no charges for the courses - not even to cover the cost of food and accommodation. All expenses are met by donations from people who, having completed a course and experienced the benefits of Vipassana, wish to give others the opportunity to also benefit.

Please regularly check this space for a variety of writings.  They are topics that I have found interesting and at times bewildering.  I have attempted to provide the reader with another perspective, reflecting my discoveires and my personal opinion only.

Change

The classic image of change is the butterfly in its chrysalis stage, shrouded and hidden.  Is it resting?  When it emerges it is a beautiful, graceful and delicate butterfly; a far cry from its former crawling and always hungry self.

"Character can not be developed in ease and quiet. Only through trial and suffering can the Soul be strengthened, ambition inspired and success achieved"                                                   Helen Keller

Is the time in the cocoon just a time of rest and quiet; a purely passive metamorphosis?  In spiritual development terms I see it as a time of intense introspective examination, thought and then the conscious decision to change.  We choose to meet those areas in our lives which are difficult for us.  Those de ja vu experiences which are trying to get our attention.

“Men are anxious to improve their circumstances but are unwilling to improve themselves; they therefore remain bound.”                                                                                                       James Allen

We all have a different response to change.  Some of us oppose it strongly arguing that we are happy where we are.  All is quiet, still and peaceful.  Some of us are excited by change.  It motivates us, inspires us and then scares us into non completion.  Some of us are like a leaf on the breeze, constantly changing.  We might be happy doing this but how about those living with us?
”You must welcome change as the rule but, not your ruler.”                                            Denis Waitley

Change gives us the opportunity to respond to our lives, to look at where we are and where we would like to be.  Every change gives us the potential to grow.  As we begin to accept change into our lives, we soften and become more flexible.  As we soften and let go of our need to control the struggles lessen.

“Notice the stiffest tree is most easily cracked, while the bamboo survives by bending with the wind."   Bruce Lee

How do we know when we are on the right track?  Life gives us plenty of feedback.  If our lives are full, varied and interesting: challenges come but we meet them without too much physical, emotional or psychological drain; we are on the right track.

Pranic Healing helps you to let go of the old, stale and out dated in your life.  It helps to facilitate growth by cleansing, energizing and rebalancing the chakras.  Healing promotes wellbeing and peace.
