knees and tops of the feet. The stool’s ergonomic design

development, I would like to recommend three books which I personally
believe, act as good catalysts in assisting small shifts of
consciousness. Here are some more reading ideas. These are a little more
in depth without being too heavy or wordy. Articles A bumpy time The summer my favourite time of the year, provided more than the normal amount of challenges this year. For some reason the universe decided to test the metal from which it made me and let me evaluate my responses. We all have fears, areas in our lives we wish to ignore; those just too hard places that make our breathing shallow and our arm pits moist. I decided last year that I wanted to start working through my list. "At last," said the universe, " I have been pushing you for years. Let us work together. I can hardly wait!" I thought better to go with the stream than against it. At fifty I had come to the point where it became harder to resist anyway. Boldly, bravely, eagerly or foolishly I jumped in. Not too bad really, several uncomfortable things happened but I remained buoyant. Mentally, I accepted, emotionally I remained positive and physically on the whole I stayed well. So far so good. I can do this. January at the beach proved to be enjoyable; despite the daily challenges of family life, a bit of button pushing and a little chaos; we progressed. I am not saying it was total bliss for I knew I was working but I could see some progress. My patience and tolerance grew, I made better choices for myself and hence us all. February came and off I went to retreat. This is one of my favourite times of the year. Like all wonderful things, for me it is a bit of a double edged sword. Learning new things, integrating them of course means some of the old ways have to go. Movement, It creates change, it creates awareness. One becomes aware of the things one does, how they affect life around us and why we do the senseless things we do. Well it sort of hotted up from here; I got to evaluate my life, my job, my car, my hands and a few other bits. I would love to say I flew, effortlessly and gracefully through it all but I didn't. Some days were really tough and they are not over yet. At times i felt as if my hands were about to loosen their grip and let me fall. In my mind I focused on the growth. I focused on the choice sink or swim? Consciously I chose swim, not butterfly but survival backstroke. At times it is though but we have a choice, sink or swim. I bless you with the strength to courageously choose to swim. Courage and humour help us to transcend. Transcend don't descend. |
